    My favorite cream: The scrub or pure 3 for the face, neck and décolleté. Use this extremely gentle scrub 3 times a week befor a night’s rest, as it guarantees a radiantly soft skin. The Renew 5 for the face underlines this feeling by giving the skin a soft glow and thus supporting its elasticity, while Cure 5 for the neck and décolleté is a must. A fresh youthful appearance as the ultimate result.

    My favorite product is the sun screen because it works great! It has a super texture, no dry skin around the eyes, no extra "expression wrinkles" from the sun. BUT most of all I think it's perfect because I don't like the light edges around my eyes (like when you're wearing sunglasses). It is a must for anyone who wants to keep looking good and still fully enjoy the sun. I also use the "scrub" which is also very nice to use, the texture is perfect. The day cream (Renew 2) is OK but I can't really see a big difference, I still have questions about that during my next visit your institute Good luck with your fine products !!!

    His research was an unusual one and started in 1987 when he studied cosmetology at the University of Brussels (VUB). Twelve years later he based his clinic on the first floor of a building that hosted a kindergarten at the ground floor. His team measured the skin of each patient and compared it to patterns on the faces of the baby’s on the ground floor.     For some skills we must bow in awe and respect for the craftsmanship of the Swiss. Watches, pharmaceuticals, banking and creams, are some of these crafts that need patience and precision beyond what we consider as humanly possible. The Swiss succeeded in creating complex formulations that give that luxurious feeling when applied to sensitive areas such as the face and neck. Not only the formulation is critical, so is the choice of purity of the ingredients as well. Ingredients bearing the same INCI name come in various qualities, with different effect on the skin physiology.     Cruelty free

    Medical drugs undergo animal testing. But for cosmetics the animal testing is banned by law in Europe and Switzerland. Therefore European labs stopped using the cruelty free logo on their packaging as the law already enforces it. No cosmetic can be registered and sold in Europe if it is not cruelty free. However, this is not the case for other continents or countries outside of the European Union. Therefore a clear label is put on all jars outside of the EU to certify the absence of animal testing. IKARI skin care is not tested on animals and lives in the Swiss philosophy of an eco-friendly and cruelty free manufacturing process. Why is the rabbit the symbol of the “cruelty free” logo? Because most cosmetic tests were performed on ears and eyes of the white rabbit as they react fiercely on irritants. Luckily this practice belongs to the past.

    Organic ingredients

    There is a lot of confusion going on about organic formulations. Different terminologies have been acknowledged such as: PLANT ORIGIN, NATURAL, NATURAL ORIGIN, ORGANIC and ORGANIC ORIGIN. Not all of them are pertaining to the full formula or 100% of the components. To IKARI skin care a formula must be stable, safe and efficient. Harmful synthetic ingredients are systematically prohibited by the strict Swiss and European directives. Unfortunately, nature is not always able to produce all the ingredients needed to meet the requirements of a truly healing cosmetic cream. Some creams require additional composed but neutral ingredients in order to interact safely with colored make up or with sunscreens. On the other hand we have parabens that are fully organic next to their synthetic counterparts. Lots of knowledge is needed to discern between good and bad, and that knowledge is our strength at IKARI. IKARI Skin care is committed to use organic and plant based ingredients in all of its formulas, and non-toxic-tested other ingredients where their safety and efficacy is proven. It is however seldom possible to reach 100% organic and 100% efficient at the same time for the whole range. Balancing the formula with care is the key to success.
